I purchase an Acer laptop one year ago for gaming. The specifications are Intel Core duo processor, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 950 with up to 256 MB of shared system memory, 2 GB RAM (which I upgrade to 4GB).
I am experiencing auto shutdowns when playing game such as Drift city and Tomb Raider anniversary. Is there any solution to this? The fan is working well. And I get hot temperatures reading from Speed fan, cpu temperature at 85 when gaming!
Will resetting the bios fix this? Are there side-effects to that? Thanks for any help.
